An Afternoon of Fun with the Kids!

It's been many, many years since I held a special class for the kids.  I found it challenging to prepare projects that would fit any age, and scoured the internet until I found some ideas that I felt would work.  It had been difficult to resist purchasing those cute little Build-A-Bear dies, after all I can't have everything, right?  But those little bears are so darn cute and I just knew that the kids would love working with them. I think it was well worth the investment.  Some of the 'Beary' dies are being discontinued at the end of the month, and many of these Sizzlits dies are discounted 25%, so if you're a Build-A-Bear fan you need to take advantage of this sale.

Here are the 3 projects that we worked on:

Here's what you need to make this card:

Stamp Set:  Beary Nice Wishes

Paper:  Riding Hood Red, Basic Gray, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Basic Black cardstock and Love Letter Designer Series Paper

Other supplies:  Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder, Bear Bigz Die, Beary Essentials Bigz Die, Punch Windows Die, and Modern Label Punch

This project uses a CD tin.  I also had a table set up with a large variety of punches and scrap paper.  The personalized CD held all those treasures for them to take home.  Isn't she cute.   They used the Beary Dressy  Die for this little sweetie's clothes and accessories.   Go Go Boots Alphabet die set was used for their monograms (this Sizzlit die set is also being discontinued as of the end of June)

And last but not least everyone made this cute little bunny!

Here's what we used:

Paper:  Crumb Cake and Blushing Bride cardstock

Punches: 1-3/4" x 7/8" Oval, 1-3/8" x 5/8" Oval, Heart to Heart

Other Supplies:  Big Shot, Scallop Circle Bigz Die,  Blushing Bride 1/2" Stitched-poly Ribbon

Now here's some great pictures of some of my customers with their children, grandchildren or friend's children:
