More, more and more!

So by now you've probably got the picture that I had an amazing time at Leadership in Nashville.  It seemed that every time we'd go to a general session they would reward us with more, more and more!!  Here is a picture of the stash I returned with plus don't forget the awesome bag!  Loving the Simply Adorned products, although this one is a bit big for my short stature, it was fun to make the little inserts for it.  These are really in style right now, saw a little blurb on the morning show a couple weeks ago. We received a bauble and trinkets, the long chain, buttons, glass glitter, brads, glitter paper, designer paper, 3 stamp sets, digital downloads and fabric. Take a look!  Oh yes, and there is Shelli's adorable card!

Now we were hardly calmed down from the announcement that we would ALL receive the final giveaway.  That had to be it, right?  But oh no, Shelli and Rick continued to banter between themselves about how they really want everyone to buy into the + ONE theme for the upcoming year and that they should come up with something that would reward those of us who came to Leadership.  Shelli said 'how about a FREE demonstrator starter kit for each person here?'.  Immediate silence, I think everyone's mouth dropped open.  We had already received amazing rewards for attending, this would be over the top, and never had been done before!  Did I hear her correctly?  Suddenly everyone was on their feet screaming!  1000 women screaming and clapping!  I don't think I moved right away, I honestly was in shock.  The kit is $175. I did a quick calculation in my head. That's $175,000.  We had to accept the gift with the idea that we would recruit a business builder, and that this person would build a downline.  Wow!  One person came to mind instantly.  Someone that has wanted to join Stampin' UP! for many years.  She's loyal and deserving.  Heads still spinning, we left the final general session with much on our minds.  What if the person turns it down?  What if they just don't want to be a business builder?  I met Kathy for dinner and we discussed all that this day had brought us.  I knew that the person I had chosen to receive this FREE gift was traveling to Chicago, so I debated when I would call her.  My daughter insisted that I call her the next morning as we were traveling home to Michigan.  I don't like talking on the phone while driving, but I agreed and gave her a call.  Jean Harvey-Clark accepted my business offer without hesitation.  Her exact words were 'I can do it!'. We met on Tuesday to sign the paperwork and yesterday she received her ID number, which gave her access to an incredible amount of information on the demonstrator website.  She is very excited about this new endeavor and I am equally excited for her.  I also have committed to increasing my downline numbers.  How could I not at least try after all this company has done.

Thanks for caring enough to read about all my excitement!  It's been a whirlwind week, for sure!
