This stamp set was on my wish list for about 6 months before I finally ordered it. I just love this truck, and although the bed of the truck is filled with apples, which would better suit a fall card, it really can be used anytime. I'll be using this set again for a Father's Day card in June. As you can see today's card uses my very favorite technique, watercolor.
Here are the supplies I used:
Stamp Sets: Countryside, Fabulous Phrases
Paper: Basic Black, Certainly Celery and Very Vanilla cardstock, First Edition Designer Paper (from the Occasions Mini), Watercolor Paper
Ink: Black Stazon
Punches: 3/4" and 1" circle, Modern Label
Other supplies: Certainly Celery 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Linen Thread, Jumbo Eyelets, Watercolor Crayons, Aqua Painter, Big Shot, Finial Press Embossing Folder
This picture reminds me of God's promise of spring, when plants and trees will spring to life again. I'm so looking forward to that. As I gaze out my front window I envision the buds that will soon grace my hydrangea bush and realize that I must get out there and spray it before the deer totally devour it! Oh yes, spring comes with it's frustrations when you live in the country. But I love it out here, and so look forward to endless hours in my gardens. It won't be long now!
I do hope that you enjoyed today's card!
