This month has just flown by! The good part of that is that we are about to enjoy all the wonderful new products unveiled in the Summer Mini Catalog. But so sad that we have to say goodbye to some awesome stamp sets, paper and embellishments. I will especially miss Easter Blossoms and Nature Walk.
You must know that the only reason I'm in the house right now is that I have homemade fudge brownies in the oven. Later I'll be making good old fashion gingersnaps. Tomorrow, at First Assembly in Battle Creek we are hosting the Kids Fine Arts Festival. I get to work the concession stand for a couple hours, that will be fun, especially with my grandson Alex working as well. Anyway, the baked goods are for the concession stand. Yummo!
Now, on to today's card. Orange. Orange is growing on me. Never liked orange, but I'm warming up to it. Especially in my garden! Take a look at the cute little clear button. The punch that coordinates with these buttons was perfect to punch out a bit of color for the button. And don't you love the ribbon punch, I just tucked half of it under the designer paper so it looks like a dainty little scallop.
Here are the great Stampin' UP! products that were used on today's card:
Stamp Set: On A Pedestal, Work Play
Paper: Sunny Garden Designer Paper, Textured Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, Basic Black and Whisper White Cardstock
Ink: So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black Classic
Other Supplies: 2-way glue pen for the Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Bitty Buttons, Linen Thread, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch, Scallop Ribbon Punch
TIP: Here's a tip for you to keep your punches in good working order. Sharpen punches by punching through aluminum foil. Smooth punches by punching through waxed paper.
Hope you enjoyed today's posting. Now, can I go outside and play???

LOL...I hope you were able to go outside and play! :)
ReplyDeleteYour card is great and I love the colors. Excellent tips btw. Knew about the foil, but had no idea about waxed paper. Thank you for sharing!
Have a great week.
