It's so much fun to learn a new technique. I've seen so many cool things done with the embedded embossing technique I decided to 'lift' an idea from the internet and use it at my last mini camp. I'm not so sure that everyone had a use for this card, but I think they all enjoyed learning something new. Look closely at the button. No, it's not dental floss, I just cut a very thin piece of Whisper White cardstock and threaded it through the button. Then curly cued the ends by wrapping the paper around a piercing tool.
To achieve the embedded embossing look, punch out all the circles and adhere them to the Whisper White cardstock. Then run the whole thing through the Big Shot, using the Square Lattice embossing folder. Pretty cool, huh!
Thank you Stampin' UP! for all these awesome products that I used to make today's card:
Stamp Set: Animal Stories
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron, Basic Black, Whisper White and Pumpkin Pie Cardstock
Ink: Pumpkin Pie Classic
Other Supplies: Big Shot, Go Go Boots Alphabet Letters & Numbers Die, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Designer Button (retired)
Thank you for stopping by today! Come again soon!
