What makes an event a success?? Well, it depends on what your goal is, what your purpose is. My goals for yesterday's New Catalog Open House were twofold; get the new catalog into as many of my customers hands as possible, and show my customers how much I appreciate them. Success!! I had 16 attend my 6 hour open house. We snacked on Lemon Blossoms, Chocolate Chocolate cookies, crackers and cheese, deviled eggs, vegetables, beer bread and dip as we sipped on Plantation Ice Tea (a great combination of black tea, fresh mint, lemonade, mango & pineapple juices). It was really a very fun day, and pretty relaxing for me once all the prep work was done. I so enjoyed sitting and just chatting with everyone about their lives and of coarse about the awesome new Stampin' UP! catalog. Sales were outstanding, and many guests commented that once they get the catalog home and have a chance to add to their wish list they'll be calling me!
Today's card was the make & take at this event. I saw this sample, by Kay Kalthoff, and totally copied it. Once everyone realized they had to stand up to put their full strength on this intricate punch they were thrilled at the results.

Love this new set, and love this color combination. I hope you like it!!!
