Home to Stay!

A true sign of 'winter coming' is when we take our last trip north to the camper.  With the nights dropping into the mid-twenties, it gave our camper heater a good work out.  The frost covered grass each morning also reminded me that the grass seed we planted just a couple weeks ago would certainly not sprout this year, and most likely the birds would feed on it as long as the ground was bare. It was a productive weekend for me, as I happily finished some Christmas projects that I'd been working on for some time now.  Oh yes, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without a few handmade gifts.

But for now, the planning has begun for that scrumptious Thanksgiving feast.  We never know who may show up, we just let family know what time dinner is.  There's always a bit of a conflict as my hubby and his daughter like to go out deer hunting at dusk, and that could create a delay in serving the meal.  But I just go with the flow, what can a person do!

So, as Thanksgiving approaches I thought I'd share a Thanksgiving card.  Now don't you laugh as you look at this, I'm well aware that the acorn is upside down, just had a brain lapse on that one.

Stampin' UP! supplies I used to create today's card:

Stamp Set:  Falling Leaves

Paper:  Early Espresso, Basic Black, Neutrals Cardstock and Mocha Morning Specialty Designer Paper

Ink:  Early Espresso Classic

Other Supplies:  Early Espresso 3/8" Quilted Satin Ribbon,  1" and 1-1/4" Circle Punches

Pretty classy card, I'd say!  Hope you enjoyed today's post!
