I love doing Mini-Stamp Camps! That whole idea was given to me a few years ago by Joyce Feraco. I was overwhelmed doing my regular Stamp Camps every 3 weeks, with all the prep and cooking, I just needed to scale my events down a bit to accommodate beginners, and those that had Saturday time restraints. My Mini-Stamp Camps are not just on the weekends anymore, I usually have two during any given month that are held during the week. I schedule an afternoon session and one in the evening, which covers just about everyone! It also breaks up the class to smaller more manageable groups. Everyone seems to enjoy the smaller numbers, and they rarely have to wait for a table.
This past Saturday we really did have an enjoyable morning. A very fun group of gals. These are the four cards that everyone completed.

This design is by Rita Wright. It uses the wonderful Spice Cake Designer Paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Everything was put into the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder except for the base card and the greeting. Another example of embedded embossing. Gotta love that Top Note Die!
This project was a lesson in distressing. We ripped and tore and roughed up edges, then sponged and used the spritzer tool. This cute card was designed by Lisa Young. Just love the First Edition Specialty Paper. And the chicken from Countryside was stamped with Stazon onto watercolor paper. How fun!
Here we are again using the Hello Doily stamp. I am yet to tire of this versatile stamp. This layout came from Wendy Wegeler. I used some different stamp sets on this one then she did, but it looks pretty close to her original. I used the hostess set Simply Soft (only $11 with your hostess dollars), and Friendly Phrases. Colors are Basic Black, Whisper White and Sahara Sand.
I'm not sure where I got this idea, probably off of the Splitcoast Stamper's website. Just thought it was soooo cute! I made a couple of changes, but it's pretty much the same. We used the JOY from Welcome Christmas, and the snowman is from Button Buddies. Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding is so easy to bend into any form you need it. The Holly Berry Bouquet button is in the Holiday Mini along with the Mini Jingle Bells. Oh yes, we can't forget to mention the Frostwood Lodge Designer Paper, how fun is that birch tree print!!!
So, those were our creations last Saturday. With a healthy treat of yogurt, blueberries and granola and a not so healthy treat of Cinnamon Muffins, we munched and stamped through another fun and festive Mini-Stamp Camp.
Hope you enjoyed today's post!! Thank you for stopping by!
