Wednesday was the first full day of convention. It was very exciting to learn that Stampin' UP! will be making some changes in our catalog program. The next big catalog will be available June 1st, instead of July 1st. A bit smaller, with lighter weight paper, it will be much less costly for the demonstrators and less weight to carry to workshops. Sounds good to me! They will be discontinuing some products, like the Decor Elements line and also the Simply Adorned line. Their objective is to keep their focus on the paper crafting industry!!!!! There will also be only two mini catalogs, starting this year, one in the spring and a holiday publication that will be available in August. I think everything will be timed perfectly.
The loudest screams came from the auditorium when it was announced that there will be a new product released in March! A diagonal insert for the Simply Scored Scoring Tool!!! Woo Hoo!!! This product, made exclusively for Stampin' UP!, will make our fancy card folds a breeze!! Here is a picture of it:
Demonstrators can preorder these on February 20th, and I just can't wait!! Lines are every 1/8 inch, so there isn't anything you can't do with this new tool. And the insert will sell for only $11.95. An awesome deal and a great option for the Simply Scored Scoring Tool.

This next display was put together by our Hispanic demonstrators. There are some very talented ladies who were involved with putting this display together.
