Altered Clip Board

It's funny how we buy things, always with good intentions, whether it's a craft item or a new top.  I can't tell you how many years ago I bought these clip boards from Stampin' UP!, with so many ideas on how to spruce them up.  We finally made these at my 'Anything But A Card' workshop last week. Today Stampin' UP! doesn't carry these fun clip boards, but I'm sure something similar would be easy to find at one of the big box craft stores, or even online.

Using the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper, we covered the clipboard, making sure that our adhesive went very close to the edges of the paper. Then we added a very thin layer of Mod Podge over the top to give it a little more endurance. Here's the finished result!

The cute flower is made by layering various flowers made from our Poppy Parade cardstock  and Everyday Enchantment DSP using the Blossom punch and also the Petal Flower punch.  We used a bone folder to curl the edges of the flowers to our personal liking. The ribbon is Very Vanilla Satin combined with Poppy Parade Stitched Poly.  Love Poppy Parade?  It will be retiring come June 1st, so get it now!  carolstofer.stampinup.net
