Chevron Pattern Is In!

A few weeks ago I had someone come into the fabric boutique where I occasionally work and ask for fabric with the chevron design.  I have to admit I had to stop and think about that, as it's just not something I've thought much about.  We did have one bolt, but not in the color she wanted.  I didn't think much about her request until I saw all the new patterned paper, and started paying attention to what I was seeing in the stores.  It's obvious that the chevron pattern is in!

Today's card uses a variation of the chevron design. Credit goes to Nancy Berg for this classy layout. The paper is from Comfort Cafe.  You're seeing Cajun Craze, Midnight Muse, Pool Party, Soft Suede, Summer Starfruit and Very Vanilla.  A marvelous collection of color!

The Betsy's Blossoms stamp set is featured here.  I stamped the large flower burst in Cajun Craze, then punched it out with the Blossom punch, dusting the edges with a bit more Cajun Craze ink to make it stand out. I finished off the flower with a pretty Antique Brad. The words are from Curly Cute (my favorite word set, or at least the one I use the most).

The Labels Collection Framelits were used on the main element of the card, oh so easy, and oh so cool!

Thanks for dropping by today!  And happy 1st day of summer!
