Cheers (way to go)

Last Friday I had an absolutely delightful day.  There were 6 ladies in the afternoon class and 5 in the evening class.  The windows and doors were open, welcoming in some much needed fresh air.  It's been weeks since I'd been able to air out the house, it's just been too hot. I was stubborn about closing it back up again the next day, but it got a little spicy again so we're back to air conditioning.  I do thank God for air conditioning, it's a welcome relief to these hot and humid days.

Today's project is one that we made at last week's mini-stamp camp.  Lots of time spent on the Big Shot for this one.  We used the Scallop Square Duo Bigz, the Stripes Embossing Folder, The Tasteful Trim Bigz XL, and the Little Leaves Sizzlits.  Colors; Pool Party, Raspberry Ripple, So Saffron, Whisper White and Old Olive.  A very cheery combination of colors

The greeting comes from a set I recently purchased, the Delightful Dozen Stamp Set.  It's stamped with Raspberry Ripple Classic Ink on Whisper White cardstock, then punched out with the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle.

The flower is from Betsy's Blossoms.  No punch for this one, it was cut out by hand.  I did use one of the punches from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack for the center, and finished it off by adding a tiny Pearl.

A similar card by Jen Mitchell inspired this card.  I changed it just a bit to make it mine!
