God's Special Work of Art

Peacocks are definitely God's special work of art.  Some of us are peacocks, but many of us are pigeons.  Each of us, however, have a special place is God's great plan.  Way back in Exodus 31:3 it says 'I have filled you with the Spirit of God, with skill, and knowledge in all kinds of crafts'.  That makes me smile!  Our skill and knowledge comes from God!  But wait, there's more.  In
1 Peter 4:10 it says 'Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms'.  Thought provoking, isn't it.  What do we do with the skill and knowledge that God has given us?  Do we share it?  Do we give it away?  Or do we keep it to ourselves serving only our own personal needs.  Hmm, something to think about.

The peacock on the front of today's project could be even more flamboyant by using more colors and some glitter.  I pulled some of the colors from the International Bazaar Designer Paper, and I'm thinking I should have added a little Tangerine Tango to him.  He was colored by using Stampin' Write Markers directly to the rubber, then after a little huff of warm breath, the stamp was placed firmly on the Whisper White cardstock, and the peacock comes to life! The peacock is from the World Treasures stamp set, isn't it fun!

Maybe in this photo you can see the bling on his feathers.

The inside greeting, which I didn't take a picture of,  comes from the Trust God Stamp Set, it says:

Each one of us is God's special work of art.

Have a blessed day!!!

Today's project was inspired by Kay Kalthoff.
