Yes, we were successful finding the perfect tree at Blakes Christmas Tree Farm on Saturday afternoon. We couldn't find the perfect concolor, so I picked out a canaan fir. It looks a lot like the frasier fir, but it's a lighter green. The canaan is also known as the West Virginia balsam fir. It was a cold afternoon, but we were accompanied by Sara, Bryce and Cam, and just watching the kids run around kept me warm.
Now let's look at today's project! It's from my Fav of the Month collection, although I didn't use any stamps from Scentsational Season, I used the tree from the Holiday Collection framelit dies.
The greeting is from the Beautiful Season stamp set. Colors are Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. The patterned paper is from the Festival of Prints paper pack. Embellished with linen thread and sparkle from a rhinestone I'd say it's a pretty cute card!
