Flowering Flourishes

I'm busy in the kitchen preparing for today's classes.  South of the Border Corn Chowder simmering on the stove, and I just took turtle brownies out of the oven.  I had to air the house out earlier this morning as the lingering scent of last nights sauerkraut just had to go. But it sure was yummy!

The weather in Michigan is strange.  It was 49 degrees when I woke up this morning but the temperature is suppose to fall throughout the day and we may get snow.  It's a muddy mess on the Stofer farm after all the rain that we've had.  Seems more like an April day!

Flowering Flourishes was one stamp set that I just had to have.  Once I had it though, I forgot just how beautiful the designs were so it just sat on my shelf!  After the holidays I was just playing one day and made this card.  It uses Summer Starfruit and Midnight Muse.  It was quick and simple and gave me the opportunity to play around with some punches.  What?  Could it be that I didn't use the Big Shot on this?  Truly a miracle.

This one's just for the bulletin board, OR for one of the 'simply wonderful' people in my life!

Thanks for visiting!
