As I was cleaning up my stamps from our last class, I noticed how 'much loved' the stamps were from today's card. French Foliage, much like Lovely As A Tree are my all time favorites. I know that some of you are rather particular about keeping the wood in perfect condition, but I'm telling you the wood in both of these stamp sets is covered with love! Blues, greens, oranges, reds and browns, a whole rainbow of colors, and I don't mind at all!
The leaves were stamped in Old Olive, then dusted around the edges with Early Espresso. Each leaf was cut out by hand. So pretty!
The NEW Natural 7/16" Trim Ribbon is just perfect for this card. Looking for a masculine card? Well search no more. I used DSP from Twitterpated, as well as a piece from Natural Composition Specialty. Don't you just love the glossy raised patterns printed on this paper? All pieces were dusted around the edges using a sponge and Early Espresso ink. This is very similar to a card I found on Splitcoaststampers, done by Yvette Ashe. And since this was part of my button class, I added one of the shiny Basics Designer Buttons.
That's it for today!
Thanks for stopping by!
