My daddy passed away when I was only 18. If he were alive today he would turn 105 in August. Heart disease took him at a very young age. I wonder if he would have approved of the path my life has taken. I wonder if I'd been able to talk to him about the Lord and all the miraculous things he's done to make me whole. Sometimes I've pictured him in my vegetable garden, checking on my tomatoes. Growing up, we didn't have much room for a garden, but he found space enough for his beloved tomatoes. He always let me put in annuals to border his garden. Yes, such sweet memories.
Today's card was a design that I used to make my son's birthday card back in December, but at the same time I made this card in anticipation of the Masculine Card Class. There were many options to consider, DAD, SON, HI, HB, or personal initials. They all turned out great! The card was cased although the orientation has changed.
I still enjoy using the First Edition Specialty paper. We've been able to enjoy this paper longer than usual, so I'm expecting that it will go away with the NEW 2013-2014 catalog. Hopefully the Letter It stamp set won't retire, it's a much loved and much used letter set.
A little difficult to see, but there are score lines at the bottom of the card, just a few to give the card a little dimension. And of course, Linen Thread, I use this stuff so much!
So, that's #5 of my Masculine Card Class samples. Thank you for stopping by today!
