Don't you find that cards for men are just plain difficult to create? The masculine card classes that I hold are always a challenge. About 10 days ago I gathered some girls together on a Saturday morning and they made 5 cards suitable for the men in their lives.
Today's project is one of those cards. I've always been attached to the truck in the Countryside stamp set, so took advantage of that fact and used it on this card.
We used watercolor paper and our wonderful watercolor crayons with an aqua painter to splash some color onto the Early Espresso embossed truck outline.
Big no-no for me though, I thought that the Early Espresso Core'dinations Card Stock was still available, but when two of my customers wanted to order it I found that it wasn't a carry over item! Boo Hoo!
Gold brads in the corners of the main event anchor this piece perfectly. The 'Thinking of You' is from the Best Dad Ever stamp set.
So, now I'm off to entertain two groups of friends today. Big pot of chili bubbling on the stove, just in case they need to warm their tummies. It's blustery in Michigan today!
