Core'dinations Class

A couple of weeks ago our class time was spent focusing on using the multi-layer Core'dinations Card Stock.  We had a preview of this paper last year, and although we had fun using it to make a very cool tree, we didn't really think about all the other things that could be done with it.  Now this paper comes in ALL of our colors, and we can enjoy using it strictly for it's texture quality or to distress, allowing it's color layers to come through.  Today's project uses it to make a pretty rosette.  Some of the girls were a bit challenged making a rosette, and a couple guests vowed they'd never do it again.  But I love these little (or big) embellishments.  With the right tools, especially our scoring tool and Sticky Strip, they are pretty quick to make.  And they produce such a WOW!

You'll see that I used the same color combination and DSP as I did on my last post, but look at how different this one looks with the cute rosette!

A little sanding lets the inside layer color show through giving this project a lot of interest.

The Gee, Thanks stamp comes from the Really Good Greetings Stamp Set.  Are you loving the new color,  Crisp Cantaloupe? I certainly am!
