Banner Class

Yesterday was the Spooky Halloween Banner class.  Attendance at both afternoon and evening classes was sparse.  But you know, those times with just a couple of friends is precious.  I love it when I can put two eight foot tables together and we all can craft and chat and no one feels left out.  Instead of six different conversations there is only one.  That's when everyone gets to know each other just a little bit better.  From a business point of view low numbers are stressful, but from where I sit, making lasting relationships is what really counts.

What I wanted to show you today was a picture of each banner held by it's creator. What I'm going to show you is a compilation of shy women who didn't want their pictures taken, or didn't want their faces to show.

In this first picture you see Cheri hiding, but smiling, behind her creation.

Here is Michelle, sheepishly sharing her work of art.

Chris W. didn't want to be photographed at all, so here is her banner.  You'll notice that she passed on stenciling the 'spooky' letters on hers.  Great idea!

Chris C. always does nice work, aren't these all just too cute!

Love the googly eyes, Chris just kept giggling after she put them on this sparkly bat.

Anta passed on the stencils and went for the Big Shot.  These letters were cut out of cute Halloween DSP, then adhered to chipboard.  Great look!

One hint I would give everyone is to use Sticky Strip when assembling your banner.  This will ensure against your pieces falling off when it's hung up.  My banner has hung for two weeks without anything coming apart.

Thank you for stopping by today.  You know you can always shop my online store HERE
Make this banner by purchasing the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit and the Halloween Banner Simply Created Accessory Kit.  Or, just opt for the paper canvas and decorate as you wish!
