Thanksgiving is only a month away, that just doesn't seem possible. Today's project celebrates that special day, known to many as Turkey Day. The aroma of a turkey in the oven is like no other. I can almost smell it right now. It doesn't matter if company is coming or not, every year a turkey is stuffed and cooked with love for my hubby. It's a special time of the year filled with pumpkins and squash and everything yummy. It's also a special time to reflect on all that we have to be thankful for. I was thinking about that today as I worked outside, the beauty of fall, the abundance of harvest, the promise of spring. So, this card is quite fitting.
The Tags 4 You stamp set, and coordinating Label Bracket punch helped make this card quick and easy. Burlap is so popular right now, I'm seeing it everywhere.
I added some 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim in Baked Brown Sugar behind the Summer Starfruit circle. The buttons are Cajun Craze and Summer Starfruit. I love, love, love the way we can coordinate our colors. Stampin' UP! makes it amazingly simple to match up colors.
