Yesterday, I was finally able to spend some time wrapping Christmas gifts. When the Christmas tree went up Sunday afternoon I didn't have even one gift wrapped. That's very unusual for me! Although the tree is beautiful, it looked a little like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree without any pretty packages underneath. Monday evening when I arrived home from the Christmas Tea at our church my dear husband had a tall tale to tell. Here is how his story unfolded. 'I was riding the four wheeler back to the house after putting out some apples for the deer. As I approached the house I could see some activity on the roof, it was Santa in his sleigh with all his reindeer. As I came closer to the house they swiftly ascended and were gone! When I came in the house there were 3 packages under the tree!' He then explained 'apparently Santa couldn't find any bows or tags, but I'm sure the packages are for you!' Cute, huh! Needless to say, there are now a handful of presents under the tree.
The project I have for you today was adapted from a card that I saw on Pinterest. Pretty, pretty packages! All stamps are from the Wishing You stamp set. I hope you like it!
I just love the boldness of the big polka dots. This background paper is from the Season of Style Designer Series.
A striking color combination; Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Gray, Crumb Cake and Whisper White
The Old Olive packages are popped up with Dimensionals. They are always the perfect touch for adding the 3-D look!
