Accordion Sided Purse

Yesterday was stamp camp day, and yes, it was a delightful day stamping with friends.  Someone in the afternoon class noticed my little accordion sided purse that I had recently made using the Back to Black DSP.  This was the third purse that I'd made, and my favorite.  I was urged to schedule a class, which I have done for August 5th.  But let me show you these cute little specimens, which I learned to make at the June Tickled Ink meeting.  This first one is the one I made at our meeting.

As I was making this I knew exactly who I would give it to.  It absolutely had to go to my friend Darlene who would soon be having a workshop. This would make a great hostess gift!  This one was made from the Lullaby DSP.

Life doesn't always work out as we expect and Darlene was too ill to have the workshop, but a dear friend of hers, Ruth Ann, said that she would have it in her place.  So, this second purse is one that I made for her out of the Gold Soiree DSP.  And yes, I gave Darlene the first purse because she is who I made it for!

Well certainly I had to make one of these cute little purses to show the ladies that come to my classes.  Since I'm such a black and white girl I pulled out the new Back to Black DSP for this one.  Lovely!

Here you can see how the sides are folded accordion style.

I'm quite excited to do the class.  It shouldn't take more than an hour or so.  I'll have a class at 2:00 p.m. and another at 6:00 p.m.  The cost of the class is $5 and includes your choice of designer paper and card stock.

Hope you enjoyed my post today!  Thanks for stopping by!
