Beveled Windowpanes

Have you seen Stampin' UP!'s new beveled windowpanes?  They are just the cutest little things, and make great embellishments for your cards.  These tiny acrylic frames come in 3 sizes; 1" x 1", 1" x 1-1/4", and 1-1/2" x 2.  You get 4 each in a package for only $7.95. They each have a slit on two sides to slip in some ribbon to anchor your pane to your project.  I got this idea from a card I saw at Leadership.  They had a booth where they were demonstrating all the fun things you can do with them.  Hope you like it!

What I used for today's card:

Stamp Sets:  You're a Gem ('it's the Little things is stamped right on the pane), Nature Walk  (both of these sets come from the Occasions Mini)

Ink:  Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake and Basic Black Classic

Paper:  Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla Cardstock

Other Supplies:  Beveled Windowpane, Crumb Cake Seam Binding, Black Brads

On most of the images I stamped off to give the card a softer look. I also used a couple of my clear acrylic blocks to make the square block images in the background.  Just ink them up and stamp!  Another great use for these blocks.

Here are a few pictures of cards I took at Leadership showing some other great examples for the beveled windowpanes.

If you're interested in purchasing some of these fun embellishments, you'll find them in the Occasions Mini.  If you don't have a copy of this catalog you can access it at: http://carolstofer.stampinup.net
