Stamping and Knitting for Baby

Recently I had a very nostalgic moment as I pulled out a stamp from 1999. The stamp was part of the Sweet & Simple Salutations Stamp Set, and retired many years ago.  Embossed in black, I love the boldness of this stamp.  I got into my stash and pulled out the Crisp Cantaloupe dotted paper, a Tea Lace Paper Doily and some matching Crisp Cantaloupe Ruffle Stretch Trim.

Today's card was made for an 'up north' friend that is going to have a baby girl any minute now.

Isn't that just the sweetest stamp!

I knit the pink feather & fan baby blanket below, but this stinkin' cute cupcake hat was knit by Mary Gonzales.  She makes all kinds of wonderful baby items.  She's been blessed with an amazing talent.

I have heard from the parents-to-be and they are bringing their baby girl home from the hospital in this hat.  Too, too cute!

Thanks for stopping by!
