Don't laugh at my ugly feet, but here's how I feel today. Confused. My toes want to be set free, but my feet get chilly when I take my socks off. Isn't this a fun sock, I'm in the process of knitting these, this is the first one I finished the other day. The yarn is Sassy Stripes by Cascade Yarns. Socks are just so fun to make!
I bet you didn't think you'd have to look at my feet when you clicked on my blog today. Sorry about that, just couldn't resist. Today's card is much prettier then my feet, I assure you!!!
After much deliberation, I finally purchased the Island Floral Die, and just love it. I didn't see anything done with it for a long time, and just thought it was much bigger then it is. But it's perfect for cards, and not too big at all.
This card is similar to one I received in a swap. I changed it up a bit.
Here are the supplies that I used to produce this stunning card:
Stamp Sets: Bring On the Cake (from the Occasions Mini)
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla Cardstock
Ink: Cherry Cobbler Classic
Punches: Scallop Trim Border
Other Supplies: Big Shot, Island Floral Die, Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Jumbo Brads, 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Old Olive
Tip: One of the great things about the Bigz Dies is their ability to cut several pieces of cardstock at once. In the above card I laid all the different colors of cardstock on the die and only had to run it through the Big Shot once. How cool is that!
