This weekend my husband and I enjoyed a delightful wedding at Bowens Mills near Yankee Springs. I had never been there before, and was pleasantly surprised at this historical sight. My friend Jill married her sweetheart on Saturday. I usually don't get too emotional at weddings, but when I watched Jill being brought to the ceremony by a horse drawn carriage I lost it. There was just something extra special about it. Here is the card that I made Jill and Chad, followed by a few pictures of the wedding that I think are worth sharing.
I've seen many wedding cards using the two heart theme. This card was so quick and easy, and I think it looks rather elegant with the special designer paper. That paper is retired now, but I was so glad I kept a couple pieces of it in my stash. I heat embossed the Congratulations to add a bit of sophistication. I think Jill will like this.

Here comes the bride.
