When I first laid my eyes on the new Flirtatious Designer Paper I have to admit, I wasn't too sure about it. As a demonstrator, I was able to pre-order this paper, a whole month before the catalog came out. Once I saw it, I knew that I just had to have a class using that very packet of designer paper. The class was on Tuesday, and everyone seemed to be very happy with the projects. Today's card wasn't even part of this class, but I needed to send a dear friend a card to thank her for an awesome little book she put together for my birthday. As I look through the pages of this little book I am reminded of the dear friendships that I have gathered along my Stampin' UP! journey. These are not just customers, they are all best buddies. Here's the front of the book and the last page. Jean Clark, she really is a gem. (Sorry, my camera just didn't want to focus on these pages).
Well, you can see why I just had to send her a special card. I try to be original when I send personal cards to my fellow stampers. Here is the card I came up with for jean using the new Flirtatious Specialty Designer Paper. That awesome doily in the middle is part of the paper pack. There is a wonderful variety of designs all attached together, all you have to do is clip them apart.
Here's what I used to make Jean's card:
Stamp Set: You're A Gem, Delicate Doilies
Paper: Whisper White, Pretty In Pink, Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper
Ink: Melon Mambo
Punches: 1", 1-1/4" and 1-3/8" circle punches
Other supplies: Basic Rhinestones
Thanks for popping by!
