Hello Doily

It's been over a week since I've posted to my blog.  My schedule has been a bit hectic planning, getting ready for and having the most successful garage sale we've ever had.  My sister Judy, daughter Kathy and I have been having a 'Crafter's Garage Sale' for 5 years now.  Between my sister and I we had six-6 ft. tables loaded with rubber stamps & other paper crafting supplies, yarn, fabric, patterns of all kinds, and cross stitch supplies. We're always amazed that every year, as we clean out and tidy up our craft rooms we are able to load the tables with even more goodies to sell.  In addition to these six tables we had two other 6 ft. tables, a 10 ft. table and two tables made out of stacks of plywood.  And we totally filled all these spaces!!! This past fall my husband and I built a wonderfully deep, 3 car garage with an awesome upstairs storage space.  I was blessed to be able to hold our garage sale there this year.  Customers seemed very comfortable in the new space, and seemed to stay longer.  We had stools setting around for hubby's to sit on and for the ladies to use while perusing my massive baskets of card samples and handmade cards.  The weather was lovely for my customer preview sale on Thursday evening, and just perfect on Friday and Saturday.  I'm kicking back this evening with aching feet, sore knees and a not so happy back.  We all worked so very hard, but we absolutely loved the whole journey.  Next year we will be back and it will be bigger and better then ever!

I have two cards to show you today.  They are both using the new Hello Doily stamp.  The first card was a project we did at my last mini-stamp camp.  The second was a swap card that I recently did.  Both were very fun to do, and I love them both.  I'm working on another card using this awesome stamp for my next mini-camp this coming Wednesday.  Must get busy with that as the hours are ticking away!

Let me know if you like today's cards!

Pretty cool, huh!

Thanks for stopping by!!!!
