Queen For A Day

For some strange reason, I'm feeling exactly like a 'Queen for a day'.  Stayed in bed a little too long, studied God's word, made hot chocolate, took down some lace curtains that should have been thrown away long ago and reveling with the idea that my daughter will be married in a few months.  Ah, feeling refreshed and just plain special today.

We made this card at a recent stamping event.  Not too sure it was one that the girls liked, but I always strive to make cards that are different, unusual, interesting and fun! I pulled this one off of the Splitcoast Stampers website.  It would be a perfect card to give to a special friend on her birthday.

As I downloaded this picture it looks a little out of focus.  Well, I'm not shakey, so obviously my auto focus just isn't up to par. Sorry about that.

Here's what I used:

Stamp Sets:  You're A Gem, Artistic Etchings

Paper:  Naturals Ivory, Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Cherry Cobbler cardstock, First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper

Ink:  Basic Black Classic

Punches:  Large Oval, Decorative Label

Other Supplies:  Big Shot, Stripes Embossing folder

Have a great day!!!
