Where in the world have I been??? It amazes me how crazy my life can be when I'm suppose to be 'retired'. That's such a funny word, depicting rest and relaxation. I'm certainly far from that!!!! There has been one event after another, with two trips up north thrown in between. I'm actually between classes today, the afternoon group just left and I have 9 gals coming tonight at 6:00. It will be a fun time tonight, besides the fact that everyone gets their very own Stocking Builder Punch, my daughter will be here visiting. Woo Hoo! She is recently engaged and just finished celebrating a 'monumental' birthday. Certainly don't want to tell you what one that is because it reminds me of my own age! Ugh! We'll continue celebrating her birthday tonight with a very special birthday cake from Continental Bakery, her favorite. I honestly can't remember the last time I actually bought her a birthday cake. What kind of a mother am I anyway???
Well, today's card is one that I really struggled with. I just couldn't get those dimensions to come out right. Once I did it though, and it's far from perfect, I decided that it would be one of a kind. You won't see this one at any class. Hope you love it as much as I do!
There weren't many supplies used on this one. The Spice Cake Designer Paper is the key. I cut out one of the designs from the DSP and then added a Rhinestone Brad. The words are from Grateful Greetings. Simple, simple, simple! Except for the darn paper cutting, of coarse.
That's all I have time for today, I hope you've missed me! Maybe I'll do better about posting in November.
