Perfect For A Gift Card

Today's project would be absolutely perfect as a gift card holder.  With a couple glue dots to hold the card in place, it's just the bees knees. This is a Mary Fish layout, very clever.

This was one of four projects completed at yesterday's Mini-Stamp Camp. There was a little confusion about scoring the envelope, but once everyone thought carefully about what they were doing, and looked at the sample it was pretty easy.  I'll share the dimensions and quick directions at the close of my post.

My Mini-Stamp Camp highlighted the International Bazaar Designer Paper.  It was a bit of a challenge, no flowers, or small designs.  All the papers are rather exotic!  But I needed a challenge!!!

The colors used here were Very Vanilla, So Saffron, Pool Party and Rich Razzleberry.  The greetings element was made using the Layered Labels Stamp Set and the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  Quite a fun project!

To make the 6-1/4" x 3-1/2" envelope cut designer paper 8-1/2" x 7-1/2".  Score the long side (longest edge) at 1" and at 7-1/8".  Score the short side (shortest edge) at 1-3/8" and 4-7/8".  Now cut and remove all four corners.  Use the corner punch on the top and bottom flaps if you'd like a softer look, then assemble.

Hope you enjoyed today's project!
