Blooming with Kindness

This is project #3 from Wednesday's mini camp.  I'm not sure if this is a peony, or some type of dahlia, it could be just about anything you want to make it. Whatever it is, it's a lovely flower.  We inked up the stamp in Cajun Craze ink, then stamped off to soften it so the greeting would stand out better.  We embossed the words using  Black Stazon and Clear Embossing Powder.

You should check out this set, Blooming with Kindness, it comes with a great array of sentiment stamps.

The basic design is by Vicki Burdick.  I think it's very cool!

Comfort Cafe designer paper is one of my favorites, and looks awesome here.  The new Very Vanilla Seam Binding adds a soft touch of ribbon.  The Square Lattice Embossing Folder gives additional texture, as do the silver brads.

Just a quick post today as I'm spending the day with my youngest grandson.  We've been building a motorcycle with Legos, chasing frogs in the rain, eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and playing with the Build A Bear dies and it's only 1:30!  What an eventful day!

Thanks for stopping by!
