Yes, I know, I haven't done a very good job showing you samples of my Fav of the Month, Serene Silhouettes. My husband and I have been traveling. Our travels over the past week took us to northern Michigan, the UP and over into Wisconsin. The weather was horrible most of the time. I can't remember seeing much sunshine over the seven days we were gone. This colors in this card reminds me of the veil of gloominess we Michiganders have experienced in the last couple of weeks.
Today's card was one that I made for a very dear friend of my daughter's. She lost someone very close to her.
I started by brayering Summer Starfruit ink onto Glossy White cardstock. Then I stamped it with Midnight Muse three times without reinking. The Labels Collection Framelits worked perfectly here and provided a quick frame for my trees.
The Petite Pairs stamp set is always a life saver when I want just a small message. And what would I do with out the Square Lattice Folder. What a versatile embossing folder!
Now that I'm home for awhile, I'll do my very best to post every weekday. I have some fun things to show you!!
Thanks for stopping by today!
