Friday it looked like Christmas in my craft room. I've been working on Christmas projects for a few weeks now, but Friday was my first event. Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Paper was the feature of this class. We completed 4 cards plus today's project, the triangle box. I just love the way this turned out, and can picture it filled with Dove dark chocolates.
I used the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle punch (although it mysteriously looks oval here) with the Extra Large Oval punch. The words are from the Greetings of the Season stamp set.
The above picture shows a bit more detail, and you can see the beautiful Scalloped Tulle Ribbon that I used behind the tag. This is wonderful ribbon, and much softer than typical tulle. It's very easy to use. You can find it in the Stampin' UP! holiday catalog.
Directions for the triangle box can be found on Splitcoaststampers. The cool thing is you can make this box any size you want, to fit whatever you need to give! Only one side of the box is adhered shut, allowing the other side to be filled and then opened by the recipient. A piece of 1/8" Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon holds the box together.
Thanks for visiting me today!
