Twirly-Bobs

Yes, I know that the correct term for these cute little twirly-bobs, is pinwheel.  But I believe that twirly-bob is much more descriptive and much more interesting!  We've been seeing these for a while now, and if you peek into the new spring catalog you'll see that Stampin' UP! has a Sizzlit S Die to help you with creating these fun little embellishments.

Today's project is my second try at making one of these special little focal points.  My first was a birthday card for a dear friend, I'll share that with you another day.  These twirly-bobs are 2" x 2", and can be put together with one of our brads.  Now you didn't hear me say 'you can EASILY' because these little things are a challenge for me.  Even with tiny hands I feel like I'm all thumbs, that's why I'm passing on making these in a class.  I'm afraid I would have to institutionalize a couple of my customers if they tried making these.  I try to keep frustration to a minimum at my classes, and if I struggle with something that's a sure fire reason to just finish it up and put it to bed.

The twirly-bob has a great coordinating stamp set, Wishes Your Way.  Very cute.

Are you not just loving this new Honeycomb embossing folder!
