You probably remember me mentioning that although the Love Heart stamp is retired, you can use just about any heart stamp in it's place. Here is a perfect example of doing exactly that. The first example is a project from the Love Heart class.
Here is the original card that I created for a card swap! As you can see I merely changed out the heart stamp!
The designer paper is Parker's Patterns from the new spring catalog. There's that Honeycomb Embossing Folder again! I also pulled out a favorite BigZ die, Top Note. This color combo is Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla.
Here are all my swap cards. Unfortunately I still have them in my possession as the swap was cancelled. My challenge is to somehow re-do them so they fit the theme of 'spring' for a March swap. I'm still thinking about that one. I always think about pastels for spring, but my tulips are bright colors of red and yellow so I think I can make it work, I just need to put my 'creative' hat on.
Thanks a bunch for stopping by today!
