The other day I mentioned that I have a tulip about 2 inches out of the ground. It may be up more then that today, I haven't perused the area since my visit last week. I do know that it's way too early for butterflies. It's necessary for them to undergo complete metamorphosis, first developing as a larva before emerging from a chrysalis as an adult butterfly. I look forward to searching my garden for Monarch chrysalis, then keeping a careful eye on the transformation.
Two of the cards that we did at our last mini-camp included butterflies. This particular card is a compilation of two different cards that I found on Pinterest. I love the Certainly Celery with Tangerine Tango. A great color combination allowing the flowers to just pop off the card!
The flowers and leaves were made using the Secret Garden Bundle. How easy it is to cut out the flowers and leaves with the framelits! A real time saver!
The greeting comes from the set Blooming with Kindness. Since the black ink takes a while to dry on the Whisper White cardstock we just embossed it! Looks great with the other embossing done on this card. Whisper White Craft Ink and clear embossing powder was used to emboss the flowers. We also used the Whisper White Craft Ink and a sponge to add color to the dry embossed image made with the Vintage Wallpaper Folder.
The cute little butterflies were made using the Beautiful Wings Embosslits. Sweet!
