So, where have I been? Craziness entered my world, first with my computer crashing, then some health issues that I didn't have time to deal with. My main computer is still down, and I've loaded all my pictures onto my Mac Book Pro, but couldn't for the life of me get just one picture at a time to load up onto my blog. How would I have known to drag the pictures to my desktop first. Duh! Thanks to my Apple Care representative, I'm back in business!
One sign that I'm getting older is the ages and heights of my grand children. Abbie cannot wait until she's taller than her GiGi. That day is coming sooner than I'd like to think. But that is just life! My dad always lovingly called me 'Short Stuff', and he'd probably still call me that today if he were alive. I miss that endearing name, 'Short Stuff'. It is who I am!
Little miss Abbie turned eleven a couple weeks ago. We went to Sukura for sushi, then on a whirlwind shopping trip. The sushi was wonderful! She is so much fun to be with. She's smart, she's funny, I'm so blessed! Today's project is the birthday card that I gave her.
The All Dressed Up framelits made this spectacular card so much fun to make. And of course, it's in Abbie's favorite color, BLUE! Or, for those of us who think in Stampin' UP! colors only, Midnight Muse. The patterned paper is from the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack. This is a sweet little packet of 4-1/2" x 6-1/2" sheets of paper, 48 in all! Lots of fun prints here to satisfy any one's appetite.
The flower on the belt is a flower from the 5/8" Flower Trim in the spring catalog. These are really beautiful embellishments, whether you use them individually or keep them on the strip of tulle. It says 'girly' for sure!
It's good to be back, and I do hope you've enjoyed today's post!
Thanks for stopping by!
