Convention Make & Takes

There was so much going on at convention that the Make & Takes turned into Take and Make.  All the stamps needed were included in the FREE sets we received while we were there.  I did complete them within the first few days of being home (or else they may start piling up like my Paper Pumpkins are).  I'm so easily distracted with the things of life.  Like just now, I noticed that my hummingbird feeder needs more nectar, so I jumped up and put 2 cups of water in the microwave. It's no wonder it takes me forever to get a job done.

The Take and Makes were really fun to do.  I think I enjoy them mostly because they are usually different than the projects I do.  The colors are more vibrant, with color combinations that I don't often use.  So, let's start out with the Tag a Bag Gift Box.  I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality of these boxes.  The box and sleeve are both rugged and would hold up to any gift or treat you put in them.

For this project we used Hello, Lovely and Gorgeous Grunge.  Loving both of those sets!

These feathers were really fun to complete.

This next project uses the Tag a Bag Gift Bag.  We made four easy cards and envelopes to fit into the bag.  What a great way to give cards as a gift!

This was a blast to do.  Again using the Hello, Lovely and Gorgeous Grunge stamp sets.  I love the freedom that this card allows.  A little Washi Tape strategically placed brings this card to the forefront of whats happening in paper crafting today.  Fun, fun, fun!

Here is the Tag a Bag Gift Bag again.  This time we added a gusset!  A very easy thing to do!

We used a tag from the accessory kit and the Tag It Stamp Set.  So cute!

This card is made with MDS.  There was a break out class on this project which I didn't get to.  All I did here was add the glitzy rhinestone!  Easy!

There was another break out class for this bag.  I had the Magnificent Maple stamp at home, so I opted out.  I used one of the old Craft pads to stamp on this Mini Muslin Bag.  I believe that they used acrylic paint during the class.  The paint does give it a more pronounced look.  Both the stamp and the bags are in the new Holiday Mini Catalog.

Hope you enjoyed the tour of our projects.
