This morning my husband said 'you may not want to get out of bed today, it's only 21 degrees'. For a moment, staying snuggled under the covers sounded like a good idea, but my excitement over the daylight brought me out of bed early and I was ready to see what God had for me today!
I was right about the snapdragons. The blossoms are very sad today, even with the sun shining brightly they look tired and shocked that their little lives have come to an end. Shadows dance over them where the summer sun used to be. That same sun, that normally would melt the snow quickly on a typical November day, will have to work extra hard with the temps still in the mid 30's. I'll be bundling up for my trek to the yarn shop in a little while where friends will gather amidst the flurry of shoppers visiting for a peek at deals and steals.
Today's card, #2 in my series of four, was made using the Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Kit, the Merry Little Christmas Stamp Set and the Snow Day Stamp Set.
I so enjoyed making this little snowman. I used the stamp positioner, but it wasn't really necessary as placement was quite easy.
Isn't he just the cutest!
Inside the card, we used markers to color the sentiment stamp, huffed and stamped. We layered this piece of Whisper White card stock onto a piece of the dotted real red envelope liner that came with the kit.
Thanks for visiting today!
