Thanks A Million!

Yesterday, my son gave the message at our church.  It's always so special hearing him preach because I'm so proud of the man he has become.  As youth pastor, he fills in for the lead pastor when necessary.  The subject of Sunday's message?  Gratitude.  Plain and simple.  The last point he made keeps coming back to me today.  That when we say 'Thank You', we are also saying 'I love you, I care about you'.   Sometimes it's awkward to actually tell someone you love them, but you really do.  Maybe just saying 'thank you for being you' would suffice.  Something to think about.

We also celebrated his 45th birthday last evening (I was only 9 years old when I brought him into the world :)).  I insisted on getting a picture of us together.  Check out his 'No Shave November' facial hair.  Seems to be getting just a bit gray!  Love him so much!

So, today's project is a great little thank you card.  It uses a stamp from the Million & One Set, as well as Gorgeous Grunge.

The Chevron border punch was used to make the individual chevrons at the bottom, then they are topped with a piece of Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon

Color combo is Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Whisper White.

Still love Gorgeous Grunge!!!

Thanks for stopping by today!
