Michigan has had some treacherous weather! Yesterday and today the temperature has settled in the mid-thirties, which is a welcome relief from what we've experience thus far in 2014. With temperatures below zero, and massive quantities of snow, this old gal hasn't gotten out much. I've huddled either in my craft room or in my knitting chair where I've stayed warm and enjoyed my crafting time. Fortunately, before the real cold hit I was able to spend a fun day with my sister, Judy, and good friend, Cheri to celebrate Cheri's birthday. We had lunch together at the Koffee Klatch in Galesburg, then perused a local antique shop. It was a fun day!
Today's card is one that I made for Cheri. I got the basic idea for this project from a card that I saw designed by Jen del Muro. I loved the bow on the card and did some investigating online until I found a video to learn how to make these with the Large Oval Punch. They are really easy to do, and they are just stinkin' cute! The cool thing is that they'll flatten down nicely so you don't need to add extra postage if sending them in the mail.
The Wish Big stamp comes from the A Dozen Thoughts Stamp Set. The designer paper is Quatrefancy Specialty. The color combinations is; Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, Strawberry Slush and Whisper White.
Still loving the tiny mini brads. They add so much to this creation.
And of coarse I had to make a liner for the envelope. So easy to do with the Envelope Liners Framelits Dies.
Oh yes, and I must share this picture with you!
Thanks for stopping by!
