Countdown To Spring!

Why is it that time seems to pass so quickly?  Yesterday at church everyone was talking about having another six weeks of winter, but that just doesn't seem like too long into the future.  There's more snow to come and that's OK with me!  I know that the heavy blanket of snow covering the ground is protecting my investment in plants and bulbs. Those shrubs that haven't been covered with snow have had it pretty rough with the deer munching on anything they can reach.  I have some huge holly bushes that have been devastated this year.  Unfortunately I didn't notice the damage until it was done.  They are protected now, but I'm not sure I'll be able to save them.

Spring isn't far away though, and soon the excitement will stir me into daily walks around the yard, looking for any small hint of spring.  It's always a special time for me.  Today's project just got me thinking about spring!  This is very similar to a card I found by Mary Fish!

Although I've used Strawberry Slush for the designer paper and card stock, the words have been embossed with Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder, go figure!  It was a great match!

The stamp, from the Million and One set was stamped on basic black card stock with Versa Mark ink before embossing.  It was a quick and easy card!  Typical of Mary!

Thanks for stopping by!
