Last August I boarded the bus to Chicago to attend a fabulous knitting event. It was my first time joining the fun at Midwest Stitches and definitely won't be the last. So many vendors selling wonderful yarn. I spent way too much, but brought home some amazing yarn for my stash. Today I'm sharing my latest finished project. The Madelinetosh yarn was purchased on my trip, it's Tosh Merino Light in Silver Fox and Twig. The Sundry shawl pattern was free with the yarn and states that it's for the 'adventurous beginner'. The pattern gives an explanation of 'sundry'. It means various or diverse, and this shawl is exactly that!
Here is a picture of it on the blocking table.
The picot bind off was the perfect finishing touch.
I love doing color work. It's so easy and yet looks pretty impressive!
Off the blocking table. I'll definitely wear this one, it's light and soft and pretty spectacular! Look at the gorgeous color variation in the dark color. Amazing yarn!
Great contrast.
Thanks for visiting today!
