A Touch of Spring

There are so many outdoor projects that I want to work on this spring.  Things like power washing the deck, making a cozy little garden room on my deck, repainting the front door, planting succulents in my cracked bird bath, and finding an old log in our woods that would be perfect for planting.  Fortunately my husband will be glad to drag the log out for me as he will do anything for me that involves heavy equipment.  The pressure washer isn't considered heavy equipment though, but I have my own and I can handle it quite well.  So much to do!

Today isn't my typical card project, but something I put together a few weeks ago.  If you can remember, there was an awesome bouquet of flowers kit available about a year ago.  Why did it take me a year to do it?  Who knows, life just happens.  The main reason I'm sharing this today is that it not only is an adorable touch of spring for my craft room it is inspiration for using our stamps and punches to duplicate these cute flowers.  These were actually die cut, so it went together in a snap.  But why not stamp with stamps from Flower Shop and punch them out with the Pansy Punch.  The stems are simply floral stems, bent over at the ends and hot glued in place.

This cute little vase has been sitting in a drawer for probably 15 years, just waiting for this bouquet of handmade flowers.

The Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons were used here and are, and will still be, available from Stampin' UP!

Too Cute!

Thanks a bunch for stopping by!
