Catching Up!

It's possible that I've lost a few followers in the past few weeks.  It has been my sincere goal to post to my blog on a daily basis, however, yet again, it's been two weeks.  I'm just a dead beat!  The summer was fleeting,  and the fall is barreling by like a freight train!  We have made numerous trips up north this year, plus a lengthy trip to North Carolina stopping to visit a dear friend in Virginia on our way home.  All of which has interfered (in a good way) with my routine!  At least the glad bulbs are popped from their summer home, and many of my pots have been emptied and transplanted to inside pots where I will attempt to overwinter them.  My front door has been stripped and repainted, and the side door dons the same rusty color (also repainted).  In my recent travels to garage sales and estate sales I've brought home new treasures that require my attention, but I do think they will have to wait until spring.

Today I will try to catch up a bit by sharing three cards that I recently made.  The first one is a CASE from Nikki Spencer.  I just love this!  I changed the background paper, using Stampin' UP!'s Back to Black DSP.

The stamp set is Bloom with Hope.  A wonderful, beautiful hostess set that shouldn't be missed.  Our hostess sets are in the back of the regular catalog, and I think they get overlooked sometimes.  You need to take a peek at this set.

You'll also see some help from Gorgeous Grunge!

The leaves are cut from the Flower Frenzy Bigz L Die.  Another marvelous product, with lots of pieces and opportunities to play!

This next card was a card swap that I did in August.  Isn't this Koala Bear just adorable!

Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Angled Tag Topper Punch, Blendabilities,  Natural 5/8" Chevron Ribbon, Linen Thread, Basic Pearls

You just want to hug him, don't you!

This next card is a great guy card!  I couldn't help but snatch this greeting out of a retired set, nothing else seemed to work with it!

Circle punches and the Circles Collection Framelits plus the Stars Framelits.  Also snatched some DSP from my retired stash.

So, that's it for today.  My intentions are to be more faithful to my posting responsibility, we'll see how that goes!

Thanks for visiting!
