Usually when the temperature hits 50 degrees I'm ready to work in my garden. It just may possibly reach that temp on Wednesday but I have a bit of a problem in that we still have at least nine inches of snow on the ground. If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know that I'm an avid gardener and when this time of year rolls around I get quite antsy to get my hands into the soil. Last fall I planted about 50 new bulbs. The fun part is I don't remember what I planted or where I planted them and although I do have plant tags somewhere under the snow it will be a welcome surprise as the earth warms and those tiny bits of life spring from the ground.
Today's project looks like spring, and I'm sure you'll agree!
Stampin' Up! is amazing! They offer suites of products that coordinate perfectly and beautifully. Here we have the Painted Petals Stamp Set and the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper. Lovely!
The wonderful grouping of colors in this paper made it easy to coordinate with card stock. Here I used Blackberry Bliss (my favorite), Pistachio Pudding and Whisper White. The blue twine is part of the Painted Blooms Cotton Twine pack which includes 3 spools; Soft Sky (used here), Whisper White and Wild Wasabi. Combined with the Venetian Crochet Trim it makes a striking embellishment!
Thanks a bunch for stopping by!
