Remembering SAB

The retiring stamp list is absolutely huge this year.  I know, out with the old, in with the new.  Last Thursday I spent some time pulling all those retiring sets off of my shelves.  It's always a struggle to decide which sets I'll hang on to and which sets will go into my garage sale.  I do know one thing, I don't have shelves enough to keep them all.  That's a good thing, it keeps things manageable.

Today I've got a couple cards to show you.  The first one uses a SAB (Sale-A-Bration) stamp set that is long gone, and highlights the beautiful Painted Blooms Designer paper, which there is still time to get.  The other uses the amazing vellum paper that was also part of SAB.  Such cool paper, glad I earned a few packages of it so I can share it with my customers.

This is the Simply Wonderful Stamp Set.  Did you get it?

I can't quite believe this, but my favorite embossing folder is retiring the Perfect Polka Dots.  I'll miss it terribly!!!!

Isn't this vellum amazing!!  In this particular case the Pool Party card stock shows through.

So many people see this stamp set and don't recognize it.  That's because it isn't found in any catalog. Stampin' UP! brings new Photopolymer Stamp Sets out every few months.  You can find them online or your demonstrator should make them available to you.  This set is called Lovely Amazing You, and yes, the feather is part of the set!  The item number on this set is 140594 and sells for $14.95.  One of my favorite word sets.

Thanks for stopping by today!
